Step 2: Take an Examination
Before you can apply and work for the State, you need to take and pass an examination/assessment for the job (classification) that you wish to apply. This assessment will evaluate your education, experience, abilities and knowledge. The process can take many forms, including an interview or exam, depending on the classification.
Read the job’s bulletin to see the necessary qualifications. It will also explain what the job is like, provide information on the salary range, and give you an overview of the examination/assessment process.
Step 3: Search and Apply for Jobs
Once you have completed the examination/assessment process for the job classification you wish to be considered, you may search and apply for DMHC vacancies by following the instructions on the Job Announcement posting.
